Kenya is a wildlife photographers dream. I have spent many hours on safari in the Maasai Mara, one of the worlds greatest mega fauna locations. Big cats patrol their territories as hippos wallow in watering holes. Large herds of elephants cruise throughout the vast grassland as impala prance alongside them. Each day is different, you may see the same animals but always in different locations, different light and exhibiting new and exciting behaviours. It’s a popular place for wildlife photographers to visit, and my goal was to create a portfolio of images that are different from the rest. Showing where the animals live has always been a goal of mine, as without that, the picture could have been taken anywhere. The main reason people go on safari is to see these magnificent animals in their natural habitat.
